Box Score Twin Falls, ID - Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) Lady Lizards fell to the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles (CSI), on Saturday, Sept. 6, resulting in a 0-3 score. 

CSI looked to dominate their home field quickly at the start of the first half, with the first goal being scored in the thirteenth minute. TMCC aimed to strike back,firing over four shots on goal, but nothing found its way to the back of the net. By minute thirty-two, the Golden Eagles struck again and the 0-2 lead held steady heading into the second half. 

The Lady Lizards intensified the pace, showing moments of control against the Golden Eagles. TMCC goal keeper Karen Salgado, under immense pressure from CSI offense, made a whopping ten crucial saves during the second half, keeping the Golden Eagles scoreless until the last ten minutes of the game, where CSI scored their final time. Not backing down, TMCC defense came in hot, ultimately resulting in a yellow card to Kayla Guzman in the final minute of the game. The Mighty Lizards left with the loss, but grit was evident throughout the match. 

The Lady Lizards plan to dominate on home turf later this week, facing off against North Idaho College on Thursday, Sept. 11. The match will be streamed on the Scenic West Network.
