2023 - Played a total of 17 games for the Mighty Lizards… Was a starter for 15 games… Co-Captain… Recorded a goal against Lassen Community College (8/26) and against Colorado Northwestern (9/7)… NJCAA Region XVIII First Team… Took a total of 3 shots over the course of the season.

2022 - Played a total of 11 games for the Mighty Lizards… Was a starter for 7 games… Excelled on the back line.

Gutierrez joined the Mighty Lizards from Hug High School in Reno where he excelled as a midfielder for the Hawks. A member of the 2021 Northern 5A All-Region Boys Soccer Second Team, Gutierrez helped lead Hug to a Class 5A Northern Regional Championship that same year. On the club level, Gutierrez played on the back line for Players Soccer Club.
