Biography

2022 - Played a total of 10 games for the Mighty Lizards… Was a starter in each game played… Picked up a goal at Community Christian College (9/8) as well as against Colorado Northwestern CC (9/24)… Recorded an assist against Colorado Northwestern CC (9/24)… Took a total of 8 shots as a consistent threat on the offensive front.

2021 - Played a total of 13 games for the Mighty Lizards… Was a starter for 11 games… Recorded a goal at Snow College (9/4), against Community Christian College (9/9) and at Colorado Northwestern CC (9/25)… Took 21 total shots over the course of the season.

2020 - Played a total of 11 games for the Mighty Lizards… Was a starter in each game played… Netted a goal at CSN (4/8)… Recorded 3 assists and took 19 shots over the course of the season.

Somera returned home to Northern Nevada to join the Lizards after spending his senior year at Cimarron-Memorial High School (Las Vegas, NV) in 2020. He played for and attended Spanish Springs High School between 2016 and 2019, capturing a regional title in 2019. A captain for Cimarron-Memorial, he was named to the Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada second team his senior season. He played club soccer for Las Vegas Sports Academy, where his club team finished third in the Nevada State Cup in 2020.

He earned All-Region 18 First Team distinction in Spring 2020. 

Somera enjoys working on cars and playing video games in his free time.
