Head Coach Geoffrey Hawkins joined the Lizards in January 2020. He comes to Truckee Meadows Community College from the College of Southern Nevada, where he also held the title of Director of Soccer.
Over four seasons with the Coyotes men’s side and two with the women’s, he amassed an overall record of 66-34-11. His tenure included a NJCAA National Championship Tournament appearance in 2016 for CSN’s inaugural men’s team, as well as a Region XVIII Coach of the Year award. Both his men’s and women’s teams made postseason appearances in the Region XVIII tournament every season under his leadership.
He spent his collegiate soccer career at Humboldt State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in teaching and coaching.
Hawkins holds a USSF A License as well as a United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Premier Diploma to go with his 20 years of coaching experience. His resume also includes a stint as the general manager of the United Premier Soccer League’s Las Vegas Mobsters from 2013-2016.
