Geoffrey Hawkins

Director of Athletics and Staff Coach Geoffrey Hawkins joined the Lizards in January 2020. He comes to Truckee Meadows Community College from the College of Southern Nevada, where he held the title of Director of Soccer.

From 2020-2022, Hawkins was at the helm of Truckee Meadows Community College Men's & Women's Soccer programs, and additionally solely coached the Women's program in 2023 and 2024. As the head coach for the Mighty Lizard Women, Hawkins saw his team qualify for the SWAC Regional Tournament in 2022 and 2023.

Over four seasons with the Coyotes men’s side and two with the women’s, he amassed an overall record of 66-34-11. His tenure included a NJCAA National Championship Tournament appearance in 2016 for CSN’s inaugural men’s team, as well as a Region XVIII Coach of the Year award. Both his men’s and women’s teams made postseason appearances in the Region XVIII tournament every season under his leadership.

He spent his collegiate soccer career at Humboldt State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in teaching and coaching. Additionally, Hawkins earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University.

Hawkins holds a USSF A License as well as a United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Premier Diploma to go with his 20 years of coaching experience. His resume also includes a stint as the general manager of the United Premier Soccer League’s Las Vegas Mobsters from 2013-2016.
