From North Valleys High School (Reno, NV) Mendoza returns for her third season as a goalkeeper for the Lizards. A three-year varsity player with North Valleys, she was named All-League second team at goalkeeper in 2018 while also helping lead her squad to a playoff appearance the same year. She played club soccer for Spanish Springs Soccer Club.

Alongside soccer, Mendoza enjoys drawing and photography. She hopes to become a Radiologic Technologist.
