Reno, Nev.- TMCC's women fell to Salt Lake community College 0-7 on Friday in the final match of the 2021 season.

After falling behind early, TMCC just wasn't able to catch up with the Bruins, who entered the match with 1^st place in the Scenic West already secured. Salt Lake opened the scoring just 40 seconds in when midfielder Jaycie Greene would score off an excellent cross from forward Anna Pinegar. The Bruins would find the net twice more before ten minutes would go by, zapping the energy and focus out of a Lizards team that looked to finish what has been a tough campaign on a high note.

Salt Lake would dominate for the entire afternoon, holding TMCC without a shot on goal and keeping chances from the Lizards at arm's length. The TMCC defense seemed to have trouble with the very talented Salt Lake attacking unit, which had no issues possessing and posted 17 shots for the match.

The match was called early in the 84^th minute after disciplinary issues began to cause problems for TMCC.

With the loss, the Lizards finish the 2021 Spring campaign with a record of 2-8. What has been a tough season riddled injuries and personnel challenges now ends for a group of players that faced a lot of adversity each time they took the pitch.
