Craig, Colo.- A 4-0 victory would be the result for TMCC in a rematch with Colorado Northwestern Community College (Craig, CO) on Friday.

En route to a program record fourth win in conference play, TMCC would post four scores on the afternoon to mark their first victory since April 17. The Lizards would get on the board early, when sophomore forward Jahmeyel Blackman found the net in just the third minute for his first of two scores on the day, assisted by freshman midfielder Micah Myers. TMCC would never turn back, scoring again before the end of the first half courtesy of freshman Luis Gutierrez-Sanchez and adding two more in the second period from Blackman's second score and forward Ben Linnert.

While the end of TMCC's three-game skid was a big positive for a squad looking to capture a playoff berth, the match was anything but clean. Their second clean sheet of the season was plagued by inconsistency, and they began to run into disciplinary issues late, as three Lizards would be shown cautions in what would be a chippy second half.

Bringing the Mighty Lizards back to .500 on the Spring, the much-needed victory was crucial to TMCC keeping pace with their Scenic West foes. Entering the weekend fourth in the Scenic West, TMCC will need to maintain or improve their seeding to secure the first playoff berth in program history. They'll look to keep ahead of their conference foes in Price, UT against the Utah State Eastern Eagles on Saturday.
