Box Score Price, UT - A back and forth game ended in favor of the home team, with #13 Utah State University Eastern topping the Mighty Lizard men 4-3.

USUE got the ball rolling quickly with goals in the 6th and 15th minutes by William Mugisha to give the Golden Eagles a quick 2-0 lead. The Golden Eagles would begin to lose momentum when they scored an accidental own goal to put TMCC on the scoreboard in the 41st minute. In the final minute of the first half, it was TMCC's Cameron Kornock that put the ball in the net to tie the game 2-2 heading into halftime.

The second half opened with another two quick goals from USUE in the 59th and 60th minutes to extend their lead by two. Kornock answered back for TMCC in the 76th minute coming off an assist from Adrian Chavez to put the Mighty Lizards within striking distance. 90 minutes would turn out to be too little for TMCC, as they ultimately weren't able to put the ball in net an additional time.

The Mighty Lizards will next head to Ephraim, UT where they will face #15 Snow College on Saturday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is set for 12:30pm with the match being streamed live on the Scenic West Network.
