Box Score Reno, NV - TMCC's men played host to #2 ranked Salt Lake Community College, where they fell by a score of 4-0.

The Mighty Lizards created a total of six shots on goal, but were beaten out by the Bruins' eight shots. SLCC recorded a total of twelve fouls, with TMCC picking up eight of their own and each side notching two yellow cards in 90 minutes. 

Cuauhtemoc Borjon and Allen Somera helped lead the offensive charge for TMCC, but weren't able to beat Bruins goalkeepers Ben Williams and Matthew Martinelli.

All four goals scored by SLCC came within the final four minutes of the first half. The first two came off the boot of Francisco Tita and Junya Shinomi in the 42nd minute, and the final two came from Damien Arguello and Gabriel Miranda in the 45th minute. Arguello was credited with assists on all other goals.

TMCC will next play host to in-state rival CSN on Saturday, Oct. 1 in what will also serve as Sophomore Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30pm, and the match will be streamed live on the Scenic West Network.
