Box Score Reno, NV – The Mighty Lizard Women extended their win streak to 3 as they routed Colorado Northwestern Community College by a score of 3-0.

The first half had TMCC leading CNCC in possession time but ended in a 0-0 tie. Bailey Rozier and Mia Takekuma created multiple shot opportunities for the Mighty Lizards, but none were able to sneak past the CNCC goalkeeper.

TMCC's first goal of the game came self-assisted in the 59^th minute by Alex Rutherford. The Mighty Lizards followed Rutherford's goal with two additional quick goals, one from Mia Takekuma in the 66^th minute and one from Jenna Bosetti in the 68^th minute. Both goals came unassisted, and both were shot from about 25 yards out.

TMCC kept the defensive effort strong to secure the shutout victory. A total of four saves was made in 90 minutes between goalkeepers Heidi Anavisca and Stella Poste.

The Mighty Lizards will next play #4 Salt Lake Community College on Wednesday, Sep. 28 at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 and will be streamed live on the Scenic West Network.
