Box Score Reno, NV - Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) Men's Soccer suffered a loss at home to the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles (CSI) on Oct. 4 with a final score of 0-4.
CSI struck first in the 35th minute, breaking the defensive backline with a clean look on goal. The Lizards stayed composed and entered halftime 0-1, keeping the game within striking distance.
The second half started quickly. CSI scored their second goal just five minutes into the second half, extending the lead in their favor. TMCC held strong, showing challenging defense and creating a few promising counterattacks. Late in the game, their resistance finally gave way. Back-to-back goals in the 76th and 79th minutes sealed the deal for CSI, where the game ended with a 0-4 score.
Despite the scoreline, TMCC's energy never dipped. Keeper Sawyer Morris made several athletic saves, and midfielder Jeremy Lafargue led drives through the field. The Mighty Lizards look to bounce back next week as they continue conference play. One thing's for sure, this team is not done yet.
