The 6th Annual Athletics Banquet followed a meaningful and well-paced program designed to celebrate our student-athletes and highlight the accomplishments of the year. The evening began with welcome remarks followed by dinner and a message from TMCC President Dr. Jeffrey Alexander, whose remarks centered on the growth, dedication, and continued progress of TMCC Athletics.

Following dinner, the Athletics Department shared several key program announcements, including the official introduction of our new Women's Soccer Head Coach, Debs Brereton, and Women's Volleyball Head Coach, Craig Choate. The ceremony then moved into our season awards segment, where we recognized student-athletes with the Most Valuable Player, Best Offense, Best Defense, Most Improved, and Mighty Lizard awards. We also acknowledged TMCC's three All-Region recipients, with two from Men's Soccer and one from Women's Soccer. Six student-athletes also earned NJCAA All-Academic honors. 

After a brief intermission, the banquet transitioned into Second-Year acknowledgments. A new tradition was introduced this year by inviting a second-year speaker from each team to share their experiences in the program. Both offered heartfelt reflections—one expressing gratitude for the opportunity to continue playing the sport she loves, and the other speaking to the deep sense of connection and family built within the team—together highlighting the meaningful impact of being a TMCC student-athlete. Fourteen Women's Soccer players and ten Men's Soccer players were honored for completing their NJCAA athletic careers, each taking part in our tradition of cutting down their player banners. This symbolic moment marked the end of their two-year journey with TMCC Athletics.

The evening concluded with closing thanks to all who attended and supported the celebration, bringing a memorable night of recognition to a warm end.
