TMCC came out hungry on their home turf. The fast-paced game led to over 10 shots on goal within the first half. The Mighty Lizards men's offense held the Lions shotless, and scoreless, for the first twenty minutes of the game. By the second half, TMCC was ready to lead the scoreboard. Valentin Linan found the back of the net first on a beautiful corner assist from Robert Castillo, bringing the score to 1-0 in minute forty-four.Â

The Mighty Lizards weren't done yet. Goalkeeper Sawyer Morris saved over three balls from PNWCC offense, with the help of his defenders. Communication was the heart of the game for TMCC, as they maintained consistent pressure on PNWCC. This ultimately led to Roberto Castillo bringing the scoreboard up one more time in the sixty-second minute. The assist from Angel Nava, led TMCC to secure their first home game win of the season.Â
