Coach Kyle Kelly Reflects on the Men's Soccer Sophomores
Head coach Kyle Kelly recognized the leadership and experience the four sophomores brought to the men's soccer program, particularly as the team welcomed 22 new players.
"Our four sophomores — Sawyer, Tony, Edwin, and Chava — have taken on an immense leadership role with 22 new players to the team. They brought their valuable experience from last year and have imparted valuable wisdom to our first-years about what it means to be a student-athlete at TMCC. It has brought me great joy to watch them mature over the last year as players and as men. We will miss them next year and wish them the best, but they will always be with us as they've left their mark on next year's team. Thank you, Sawyer, Tony, Edwin and Chava," Kelly said.
A Lasting Impact on TMCC Athletics
As these 11 soccer sophomores prepare for their next chapters, TMCC Athletics celebrates not only their accomplishments on the field but also the leadership, dedication and friendships they brought to their teams. Each athlete has contributed to the Mighty Lizards in a unique way, leaving behind memories and experiences that will remain part of the program's story.
TMCC Athletics thanks these student-athletes for their commitment to the program and wishes them continued success in their academic, athletic and professional futures.
