Reno, NV - Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) Men's Soccer delivered a commanding offensive performance against Pacific Northwest Christian College (PNWCC), earning an 8-0 victory behind a hat trick from Landon Savri and contributions throughout the Mighty Lizards' lineup

TMCC established control early, finding the back of the net twice in the opening 24 minutes before a six-goal second half put the match out of reach.

Savri opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Sammy Andres helped create the opportunity with a cross from the right side, allowing Savri to finish and give the Mighty Lizards an early 1-0 advantage.

Savri struck again in the 24th minute, this time connecting off an assist from Sergio Martin to double TMCC's advantage. The early brace sent the Mighty Lizards into halftime holding a 2-0 lead.

The Mighty Lizards wasted little time adding to their lead after the break. Just one minute into the second half, Gavin Sibayan scored in the 46th minute off an assist from Eduardo Villalobos, extending TMCC's advantage to 3-0.

The offensive pressure continued in the 58th minute. Sibayan helped create another scoring opportunity, delivering a cross from the left side that Brayan Cabrera finished to push the Mighty Lizards' lead to four.

TMCC maintained control throughout the second half before breaking the match open with four goals over the final 10 minutes.

Juan Velazquez started the late scoring surge in the 81st minute, striking from outside the box to give TMCC a 5-0 advantage.

Three minutes later, Joel Willard joined the scoring. Salvador Anguiano delivered a cross from the left side, allowing Willard to finish in the 84th minute and extend the lead to six.

Sergio Martin, who contributed an assist earlier in the match, found the back of the net in the 87th minute. Martin Paredes provided the service from the left side as Martin finished the opportunity for TMCC's seventh goal.

Savri put the finishing touches on the victory in the 89th minute. Paredes delivered a cross from the right side, setting up Savri for his third goal of the match and completing the hat trick as TMCC closed out the 8-0 victory.

Savri led the Mighty Lizards with three goals, while Sibayan contributed a goal and an assist. Cabrera, Velazquez, Willard and Martin also found the back of the net as six different TMCC student-athletes contributed to the scoring.

The Mighty Lizards' attack proved especially effective after halftime. After carrying a two-goal advantage into the break, TMCC scored six times in the second half, including four goals over the final 10 minutes, to put the finishing touches on a complete team performance.
